EXTENSIONS Floating Forest House exhibition is an installation inspired by a unique architectural project that is the product of the creative efforts of Architect Haji Nakamura and his artist family members and friends, who collaboratively built this dream house from the ground up. This is a story of discovery, an exposition of how architecture serves as a vehicle to explore the extension of networks from the city centre to the wider territory of inhabitation beyond.
This project is part of Gendai Gallery's New Creator's Series, which allows artists and curators to collectively develop the exhibition through a forum of peer discussion and consultation.
